THE ACCUSED To Enter Studio To Record New Material

June 19, 2004

Legendary splatter rockers THE ACCUSED will be heading into the studio with producer Jack Endino to record their first new material in well over ten years. The band are also accepting artwork for the second issue of the Martha Splatterhead comic. Go to www.splatterrock.com for more information. In other news, THE ACCUSED are working with Warped Reality Pictures to bring the Martha Splatterhead character to life on the screen. Warped Reality Pictures is best known for their indie film/cult smash "Cannibal Maniac".

With regards to their new material, the band write on their web site: "The new stuff is the best stuff THE ACCUSED has ever written. That is no joke. We are gelling together like we never were apart. The new material is face-lacerating, blood-soaked, hammer-to-the-temple bad-ass! Every worm-driven-saw-slice-to-the-spine riff and every eyelid-ripped-out-by-needle-nose-pliers scream is beyond belief. It could've been sad if we ended up just throwing some crappy pieces of whatever together and calling them songs. But we sure as hell didn't do that. This is the real deal, splatterheads. For those of you who've been waiting, you will not regret it. 100% splatter rock from top to bottom! For those of you new to this whole thing — prepare to be enlightened on what's been missing in your life."

Upcoming THE ACCUSED shows:

Jul. 24 – Tacoma, WA @ Hell's Kitchen (w/ R.K.L.)
Aug. 07 – Seattle, WA @ The Graceland (w/ ZEKE)
